# Steps to follow:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan and lightly dust with flour.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until the mixture is just combined.
- Gently fold in diced apples, chopped pecans, and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramel candies with heavy cream in 20-second intervals, stirring until completely smooth.
- Spoon half of the batter into the Bundt pan. Drizzle half the caramel mixture over the batter. Layer remaining batter, followed by remaining caramel, then gently swirl with a knife.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs but no wet batter.
- Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack and cool completely.
- Once cool, drizzle with caramel sauce, sprinkle with extra pecans and mini chocolate chips as desired. Slice into bars and serve.
