Cranberry Jalapeño Avocado Salsa (Printable version)

02 - 1 large ripe avocado, diced
03 - 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped
04 - 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
05 - 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
06 - 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (approximately 2 limes)
07 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

10 - 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
11 - 1 small Roma tomato, diced

# Steps to follow:

01 - Place chopped cranberries, diced avocado, jalapeño, red onion, and cilantro in a large mixing bowl.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey or maple syrup, salt, and black pepper until fully blended.
03 - Pour the dressing over the bowl of salsa ingredients and gently toss using a spoon or spatula until evenly incorporated.
04 - If desired, gently fold in pomegranate seeds and diced Roma tomato.
