# What you need:

→ Sausages

01 - 24 mini cocktail sausages (approx. 12.35 oz)

→ Pastry

02 - 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry (approx. 8.8 oz)
03 - 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

→ Garnish

04 - 2 tbsp melted butter
05 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
06 - 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
07 - 1 star-shaped piece of cheddar cheese or yellow bell pepper (for tree topper)

→ Dipping Sauce

08 - 4 tbsp Dijon or honey mustard
09 - 2 tbsp mayonnaise
10 - 1 tsp honey

# Steps to follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll the puff pastry and slice into 24 strips approximately 0.6 inches wide and 4 inches long.
03 - Encase each mini sausage with a pastry strip, slightly overlapping ends and placing seam side down.
04 - Arrange the wrapped sausages on the tray in a Christmas tree pattern, starting with one sausage at the top and increasing by one per row, up to seven at the base. Place the star-shaped cheddar or pepper at the tree’s apex.
05 - Brush the pastries lightly with the beaten egg to ensure a golden finish.
06 - Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden brown.
07 - Combine melted butter with finely chopped parsley and optional Parmesan cheese.
08 - Remove from oven and immediately brush the tree with the buttery parsley mixture.
09 - In a small bowl, whisk together mustard, mayonnaise, and honey.
10 - Serve warm with the dipping sauce on the side.
