- 30 to 36 round peppermint hard candies, unwrapped

# Steps to follow:

- Set the oven temperature to 300°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Place peppermint candies closely together in a tight circle on the prepared baking sheet, forming an 8 to 9 inch diameter disc with edges touching and no gaps.
- Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, monitoring carefully to ensure candies melt and fuse without browning.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 1 minute until pliable but safe to handle using oven mitts or gloves.
- Place a heatproof bowl approximately 6 inches in diameter upside down on a stable surface.
- Lift the melted candy disc with the parchment paper and drape it over the inverted bowl, gently pressing the sides to form the bowl shape. Hold for several seconds until it begins to set.
- Allow the shaped candy bowl to cool completely for about 20 minutes before removing from the mold.
- Peel off the parchment paper and fill the peppermint bowl with wrapped holiday treats or dry items.
