Leave out the meats and add more vegetables, such as artichoke hearts or grilled zucchini, for a hearty, veggie-filled option.
- → Which rolls work best?
Italian hoagie or ciabatta rolls offer a sturdy, flavorful base. Toasting the rolls adds extra crunch and warmth.
- → How long can the sandwiches be stored?
Once assembled, wrap tightly and refrigerate for up to 2 hours. This allows flavors to meld. For best freshness, serve soon after preparing.
