This snack board is my go-to for picnics as it looks impressive but requires minimal prep time.

Ingredients

  • Cheeses: 100 g aged cheddar cubed, 100 g brie sliced, 100 g goat cheese crumbled
  • Meats (optional omit for vegetarian): 80 g sliced salami, 80 g prosciutto
  • Crackers & Bread: 1 cup assorted crackers, 1 small baguette sliced
  • Fruits: 1 cup red grapes, 1 apple sliced, 1/2 cup dried apricots
  • Vegetables: 1 cup baby carrots, 1 cup cucumber rounds, 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
  • Nuts & Extras: 1/3 cup roasted almonds, 1/4 cup olives, 1/4 cup hummus, 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

Step 1:
Arrange all cheeses and meats (if using) evenly on a large portable board or platter.
Step 2:
Fill spaces with crackers, baguette slices, and fresh fruits.
Step 3:
Add vegetables, grouping by type for visual appeal.
Step 4:
Scatter nuts and olives around the board.
Step 5:
Place hummus and honey in small containers or ramekins and add to the board.
Step 6:
Cover tightly with plastic wrap or secure in a picnic-safe container until ready to serve.
